Sexual harassment

যৌন হয়রানী, ধর্ষণ, হত্যা ইত্যাদির শিকার হচ্ছে আমাদের গৃহ পরিচারিকারা, স্কুল কলেজ এর ছাত্রীরা, কোন কোন ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষীকারা, এমন কি  কন্যা শিশুরাও নির্যাতন থেকে বাদ যাচ্ছে না ।

আমাদের সন্মানিত মহিলাদের আমাদের পুরুষ শাসিত সমাজ ভোগের সামগ্রী বানীয়ে ফেলিয়াছে । কাউকে অত্যাচার করা হচ্ছে চাকরী দেওয়ার নাম করে, কাউকে ভাল স্কুল কলেজে ভর্তির নামে, কাউকে বিয়ে করার কথা বলে, কাউকে আবার বিভিন্য ভাবে উপকার করার কথা বলে । গৃহ পরিচারিকারাদের জন্য এটা নিত্যনইমিত্তিক ঘটনা । যেন এটা গৃহস্বামীর অধিকার হয়ে দারিয়েছে । এমন মানসিক  অসুস্থতা  উচ্চ শিক্ষিত, অশিক্ষিত, কিশোর, যুব, বয়স্ক সবাইকে যেন এ নেশায় পেয়ে বসেছে । স্কুল কলেজের শিক্ষক, ছাত্র, কর্মকর্তা, কর্মচারী, ব্যাবসায়ি, যানবাহনের ড্রাইভার, হেল্পার, বাসার কেয়ার টেকার, বাসার পুরুষ করমচারি/দারয়ান, নাইট গার্ড, খেলোয়াড়,  সেবাদান কেন্দ্র, চলচিত্র জগত, স্কুল/কলেজের, মাদ্রাসার শিক্ষক, ছাত্র, মাদ্রাসা/মসজিদের শিক্ষক, কেহই বাদ যাচ্ছে না । পত্রিকা খুললেই বড় বড় হেড লাইনে এসব দেখা  যায় । মনে হচ্ছে আমরা যেন আবার সেই অন্দকার যুগে ফিরে যাচ্ছি । আমাদের মিডিয়া/পত্রিকাগুলোর এসব খবর প্রকাশ করতে এবং একই খবর বারে বারে প্রকাশ করাও যুক্তিযুক্ত । যদিও এতে করে পুরো পরিবারটির সামাজিক মান/মরজাদার ক্ষতি হতে পারে! কোন একজনের অন্যায়ের জন্য পুরো পরিবারকে suffer করতে হয় । যদিও এটা কারো কাম্য না । তাই, এসব ব্যাপারে বিশেষ করে সছুল/কলেজ-এর ছেলে/মেয়েদের দায়িত্ব পরিবারকেই নিতে হবে । পরিবারের মায়ের দায়িত্ব অধিক । মাকে সর্বদা সতর্ক থাকা জরুরী । ছেলে/মেয়েদেরা কোথায় যায়, কার কার সাথে মেলামেশা করে, তাঁদের চলা-ফেরা, ব্যাবহার, পোশাক পরিচ্ছদ ইত্যাদি অবশ্যই লক্ষ্য রাখতে হবে । রাস্তায় অনেক মাকে দেখা যায় নিজে পর্দা মানছেন না, মেয়েকেও সেইভাবে চলতে সাহায্য করছেন বা বাধ্য করছেন । এটা ঠিক নয় ! মা বাবাকে বা পরিবারের বড়দের দায়িত্ত সব সময় ছোটদের প্রতি খেয়াল রাখা । কথাও বেড়াতে যেতে বা বন্দুর বাড়ীতে বেড়াতে যাওয়ার কথা বলে সে কোথায় যায় সে দিকে খেয়াল রাখা উচিৎ । স্কুল/কলেজ থেকে দেরি করে বাড়ি ফিরলে তাঁকে জওয়াব দিহিতার আওতায় আনা উচিৎ, এতে করে তাঁর মনে একটা ভয় কাজ করবে এবং সে সময়মত বাড়ীতে ফেরার চেস্টা  করবে । মোবাইল ফোন আর একটা সমস্যা ! রাস্তায় বা বাসে দেখা যায় ছেলে মেয়েরা সিটে বসেই মবাইল-এ যা ইচ্ছে কথা বলছে ! তার আসে পাশে যে আরও লোকজন আছে সে দিকে কোন খেয়াল নেই ! তার মা/বাবার বিষয়ী লোক জন  তার পাশে বসা, সে দিকে কোন খেয়াল নাই ! সে তার বন্ধুর সাথে free style-এ কথা বলে যাচ্ছে, অনৈতিক কথা বার্তা বলতেও দ্বিধা করছে না । কোণ লজ্জ্যা বোধ নেই !  এই সব ছেলেমেয়েদের কর্মজীবনেও এই রকম অব্যাস থাকবে ! তাই দেখা যায় অনেক অফিস-এ কিছু কিছু লোক Senior-দের সামনেও অনৈতিক কথা বার্তা বোলতে   কোন দ্বিধা করে না । তাদের কোন পরিবর্তন হবে না এবং সেখানেও তাঁরা Senior-দের ভোগাবে ! এ জন্য দরকার ছোট থেকে তাদের ধর্মীয় শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত করা । কোন ধর্ম্যই অনৈতিকতাকে প্রসরয় দেয়া না । আর লজ্জা একটা বড় গুন । যার লজ্জ্যা নেই তার ঈমান নেই বলে একটা কথা আমাদের ইসলাম ধর্মে/সমাজে চালু আছে । শুধু নামে মুসলমান হলেই হবে না । আল্লাহ্‌কে বিশ্বাস করার সাথে সাথে আল্লাহ্‌র আদেশ নিশেদ মানতে হবে । নবিকে মানতে হবে । ভাল কাজে সহযোগিতা এবং মন্দ কাজে বাধাদান করতে হবে । অন্যদের - ছোটদের বোড়দের সাথে সুন্দর ব্যাবহার করতে হবে, বড়দের সন্মান জানাতে হবে । এবং সত্যিকার ভাবেই একজন মুসলমান এবং সুনাগরিক হতে হবে । সাথে সাথে আমাদের স্মাজে বা কোন সম্ভ্রান্ত পরিবারে যেন এরকম ঘটনা না ঘটে তার জন্য ব্যাবস্থা গ্রহন করতে হবে (ঐ পরিবারের কোন সদস্যর মধ্য খারাপ কিছু চোখে পড়লে সেটা পরিবারের কর্তা ব্যাক্তিকে জানান)।

আমরাতো সকলেই একটা পরিবার/সমাজে বাস করি, তাই আমাদের উচিৎ পারিবারিক/সামাজিক ভাবে এসব প্রতিরোদ করা । জে সব ব্যাক্তি/পরিবার এ সব কুৎসিত কাজের সাথে জড়িত তাদেরকে সামাজিক ভাবে বয়কট করতে হবে । দরকার আমাদের ভিতরকার পসুত্যকে জবাই করা, দরকার সয়তানের তাবেদারি না করা, দরকার খারাপ চিন্তা মুক্ত এবং পবিত্র থাকা, অলশ জীবন যাপন না করা । কারণ অলশ মস্তিস্ক সয়তানের কারখানা, খারাপ (কুচিন্তধারি) বন্ধুদের এড়িয়ে চলা, সামাজিক সচেতনতা, দরকার আমাদের চরিত্রের পরিবর্তন, দরকার ধর্মীয় অনুশাসন মেনে চলা । দরকার মহিলাদের পোশাক পরিচ্ছেদর পরিবর্তন, চলা ফেরায় শালীনতা বজায় রাখা, কুর’আন-সুন্নাহ ভিত্তিক জীবন/সমাজ গঠন করা এবং কুর’আন-সুন্নাহ ভিত্তিক বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা করা ।       

পবিত্র কুর’আনে ক্ষমাশীল ও পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহ (সুবঃ) বলেন -

তোমরা ব্যাবিচারের ধারে কাছেও যেওনা, সিঃসন্ধেহে এ হচ্ছে একটি অশস্যিল কাজ এবং নিকৃষ্ট পথ । আল্লাহ্‌ যার হত্যা নিসেদ করেছেন যথারত কারণ ছাড়া তাঁকে হত্যা করো না । কেউ অন্যায়ভাবে নিহত হলে তাঁর উত্তরাধিকারীকে আমি   প্রতিসোদের অধিকার দিয়েছি, কিন্তু হত্যার ব্যাপারে সে যেন বাড়াবাড়ি না করে, নিশ্চয়ই সে সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত । -পবিত্র কুর’আন ­১৭ঃ৩২-৩৩       

বাবিচারিনি নারি ও  বাবিচারি পুরুষ তাঁদের উভয়কে একশটি করে বেত্রাঘাত করবে, আল্লাহর দ্বীনের (আদেশ প্রয়োগের) ব্যাপারে তাদের প্রতি কোন রকম দয়া যেন তোমাদের পেয়ে না বশে, যদি তোমরা আল্লাহতালা  ও পরকালের ওপর ঈমান এনে থাক, (তাহলে) মোমেনদের একটি দল এ শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করার জন্য যেন (সেখানে থাকে) । -পবিত্র কুর’আন ­২৪ঃ২

কোন বিবাহিত ইস্ত্রি-পুরুষ এরূপ করলে তাঁহাদের জন্য বিধান হচ্ছে রজম করা । - হাদিস (সহি বুখারি) ।

 (হে নবী, একইভাবে) তুমি মোমেন নারীদেরও বোলো, তারা যেন তাঁদের দৃষ্টিকে নিম্নগামী করে রাখে এবং নিজেদের লজ্জাস্তান্সমুহের হেফাজত করে, তারা যেন তাঁদের সৌন্দর্য প্রদর্শন না করে বেড়ায়, তবে তাদের (শরীরের যে অংস এমনই) খোলা থাকে তার কথা আলাদা, তারা যেন তাঁদের গ্রীবা ও বক্ষদেশ মাথার কাপড়  দ্বারা আবৃত করে রাখে, তারা যেন তাঁদের স্বামী, পিতা, শ্বশুর, তাঁদের ছেলে, তাঁদের স্বামীর আগের পক্ষের ছেলে, তাঁদের ভাই, তাঁদের ভাইয়ের ছেলে, বনের ছেলে, তাঁদের সচরাচর মেলামেসার মহিলা, নিজেদের অধিকারভুক্ত সেবিকা, তাঁদের অধিকারভুক্ত এমন পুরুষ জাদের মহিলাদের নিকট থেকে কিছুই কামনা করার নেই, অধবা এমন শিশু জাদের মহিলাদের গোপন অঙ্গ সম্পর্কে কন ধারনা নাই, (এসব মানুষ ছাড়া তাঁরা যেন তাঁদের  সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশ না করে, (চলার সময়) জমিনের উপর তাঁরা যেন এমন ভাবে পা না রাখে - যে সৌন্দর্য তাঁরা গোপন রেখেছিল তা পায়ের আওয়াজে লোকদের নিকট  প্রকাশ হয়ে যায়; হে ইমান্দার লোকরা ক্রুটি বিচ্যুতির জন্য তুমরা সবাই আল্লাহর দরবারে তওবা কর, আশা করা যায় তুমরা নাজাত পাবে । -পবিত্র কুর’আন ­২৪ঃ৩১

তোমাদের অধীনস্থ দাসীদের যারা সতী সাদ্ভি থাকতে চায়, নিছক পার্থিব ধন সম্পদের আশায় কখনো তাঁদের ব্যাবিচারে বাধ্য করিওনা; যদি তোমাদের কেউ তাঁদের (এ ব্যাপারে) বাধ্য করে, (তাহলে তাঁরা যেন আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রাথনা করে), কারণ তাঁদের এভাবে বাধ্য করার পরেও (তওবাকারিদের প্রতি) আল্লাহতা’লা (সবসময়ই) ক্ষমাশীল ও পরম দয়ালু । -পবিত্র কুর’আন ২৪ঃ৩৩

­আর তাঁদের জন্য তওবা নেই, যারা আজিবন শুধু গোনাহের কাজ করে, এভাবে একদিন তাঁদের কারো দড়জায় মৃত এসে হাজির হয়, তক্ষণ সে বলে হে আল্লাহ্‌ আমি তওবা  করলাম । ৪ঃ১৮।

কিছু একটা অঘটন ঘটলেই সবাই মিলে আইন সশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীকে দোষারোপ করা ঠিক নয় । আগে নিজ দায়িত্ব পালন করা উচিৎ । আইন সশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীকে সত্য ঘটনা অবহিত করা উচিৎ  এবং তাঁহাদের সহযোগিতা কামনা করা উচিৎ ।

আমাদের আইন সশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর তৎপরতা অবশ্যই উৎসাহজনক । কিন্তু তাঁহাদের পক্ষে প্রতি ঘরে ঘরে পাহারা দেয়াতো সম্ভব নয় ? তাঁহাদের  আমাদের প্রত্যাশা তাঁহারা যেন তাঁহাদের উপর অর্পিত দায়িত্য সঠিক ভাবে পালন করেন । Victim যেন তাঁর সামাজিক মর্যাদা অখুন্য রাখতে পারেন, তাঁর সন্তানরা যেন উপযুক্ত ক্ষতি পূরণ পেতে পারেন এবং সামাজিক ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠা পায় তার ব্যাবস্থা করা ।

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

And who would be averse to the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) except one who makes a fool of himself? And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said, "I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds."

And this (submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya’qub (Jacob) (saying), O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then do not die except in the Faith of Islam (as Muslims–Islamic Monotheism).”

Or were you witnesses when death approached Ya’qub (Jacob)? When he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your Ilah (Allah-God) and the Ilah (God) of your fathers, Ibrahim (Abraham), and Isma’il (Ishmael), and Ishaq, One Ilah (God), and to Him, we submit (in Islam).”

That was a nation which has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.

They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say (to them O Muhammad SWS), “Rather, [we follow only the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)], and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (those who worshipped others along with Allah.

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. [And say, "Ours is] the religion of Allah. And who is better than Allah in [ordaining] religion? And we are worshippers of Him." – The Holy Qur’an 2:130-138.

Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists. – The Holy Qur’an 3:67.

Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." – The Holy Qur’an 3:84.

And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend. ­– The Holy Qur’an 4:125.

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Ibrahim (Abraham). Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper. ­– The Holy Qur’an 22:78.                        Beautiful Bangladesh

Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SWS) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in the best way. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has gone strayed from His Path, and He is the best Aware of those who are guided.

And if you punish [an enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allah], punish with the like of that with which you were harmed. But if you endure patiently, truly, it is better for those who are patient.

And be patient, [O Muhammad SWS], and your patience is not but from Allah (polytheists and pagans). And do not be in distress over because of what they conspire.

Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are Muhsinun (good doers).- The Holy Qur’an 16:125-128.

Hadith:

Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (PBUH) said: None is more patient than Allah against the harmful saying. He hears from the people they ascribe children to Him, yet He gives them health and (supplies them with) provision."

Narrated 'Abdullah (RA): The Prophet divided and distributed something as he used to do for some of his distributions. A man from the Ansar said, "By Allah, in this division, the pleasure of Allah has not been intended." I said, "I will definitely tell this to the Prophet ." So I went to him while he was sitting with his companions and told him of it secretly. That was hard upon the Prophet and the color of his face 

changed, and he became so angry that I wished I had not told him. The Prophet then said, "Moses 

was harmed with more than this, yet he remained patient."

Narrated 'Aisha(RA): The Prophet did something and allowed his people to do it, but some people refrained from doing it. When the Prophet learned of that, He delivered a sermon, and after having sent Praises to Allah, He said, "What is wrong with such people as refrain from doing a thing that I do? By Allah, I know Allah better than they, and I am more afraid of Him than they." – Shahi Bukhari Vol. 8, No. 121-123.

In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Gracious

Narrated Said bin Jubair: 

'AbdurRahman bin Abza said, "Ask Ibn 'Abbas about these two Qur'anic Verses: 'Nor kill such life as Allah has made sacred, Except for just cause.' (25.168) "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell. (4.93)  So I asked Ibn 'Abbas who said, "When the Verse that is in Sura-al-Furqan was revealed, the pagans of Mecca said, 'But we have slain such life as Allah has made sacred, and we have invoked other gods along with Allah, and we have also committed fornication' So Allah revealed: -- 'Except those who repent, believe, and do good-- (25.70)   

So this Verse was concerned with those people. As for the Verse in Surat-an-Nisa (4-93), it means that if a man, after understanding Islam and its laws and obligations, murders somebody, then his punishment is to dwell in the (Hell) Fire forever." Then I mentioned this to Mujahid who said, "Except the one who regrets (one's crime).” –Shahi Bukhari Vo. 5, No. 194.

What Our Lord Allah (Sob) Says in The Holy Qur’an:

But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted. - Holy Qur’an 4:93-94.

And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. Holy Qur’an 25:68-70.

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure. And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them is a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do. O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, *a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed. And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allah turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is Seeing of what they do. – The Holy Qur’an 5:65-71.

Hadith:

Narrated by Anas (RA): When the news of the arrival of the Prophet at Medina reached 'Abdullah bin Salam,

he went to him to ask him about certain things, He said, "I am going to ask you about three things which only

a Prophet can answer: What is the first sign of The Hour? What is the first food which the people of 

Paradise will eat? Why does a child attract the similarity to his father or to his mother?" The Prophet 

replied, "Gabriel has just now informed me of that." Ibn Salam said, "He (i.e. Gabriel) is the enemy of 

the Jews amongst the angels. The Prophet said, "As for the first sign of The Hour, it will be a fire that 

will collect the people from the East to the West. As for the first meal which the people of Paradise 

will eat, it will be the caudate (extra) lobe of the fish-liver. As for the child, if the man's discharge 

precedes the woman's discharge, the child attracts the similarity to the man, and if the woman's discharge

precedes the man's, then the child attracts the similarity to the woman."  On this, 'Abdullah bin Salam

said, "I testify that None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that you are the Apostle of Allah."

and added, "O Allah's Apostle! Jews invent such lies as make one astonished, so please ask them about me

before they know about my conversion to I slam. “The Jews came, and the Prophet said, "What kind of man is

'Abdullah bin Salam among you?" They replied, "The best of us and the son of the best of us and the most

superior among us, and the son of the most superior among us. "The Prophet said, "What would you think if

'Abdullah bin Salam should embrace Islam?" They said, "May Allah protects him from that." The Prophet repeated

his question and they gave the same answer. Then 'Abdullah came out to them and said, "I testify that none has the

right to be worshipped except Allah and that Muhammad( P.B.U.H.) is the Apostle of Allah!" On this, the Jews said,

"He is the most wicked among us and the son of the most wicked among us." So they degraded him. On this, he (i.e.

Mecca-The birth place of Prophet(p.b.u.h)

'Abdullah bin Salam) said, "It is this that I was afraid of, O Allah's Apostle.  –Shahi Bukhari Vol.5, No. 275.
